Aging Healthfully
COURSE
OVERVIEW: Aging is the result of a lifetime of poor
nutrition and inactivity. In this dynamic workshop, you
will learn what you should know about nutrition and
exercise for healthful aging, fitness, performance and
weight management. You'll go home with recommendations
for exercisers and athletes of all ages. The content is
valuable for dietitians, health educators and all health
professionals, exercise leaders, coaches, trainers,
athletes and seniors who want to age healthfully. The
leaders encourage interaction among nutrition and
exercise specialists for new perspectives.
This program gains
strength from the faculty, both of whom actively work in
the fields of nutrition and exercise. Evans is reknowed
for his research; Clark for her counseling skills. As a
team, they bring a powerful blend of theory and practice
into the classroom through lecture, discussion, case
studies, resource materials and networking. You'll learn
state-of-the-art research and first-hand counseling
experiences that will help you further your career and
help your clients.
Autographed copies of
Clark's Sports Nutrition Guidebook, Third Edition and
AstroFit will be for sale.
